Apart from physical exercise another way to lose weight is proper diet. In other words the weight loss can be achieved with proper nutrition. There is no need of enormous sacrifices to lose extra pounds. Adoption of simple dietary habit will do.

1. Usually when we are hungry we eat a salad first and then we end up in the main meal. The salad can be raw, freshly cut with a spoonful of olive oil while the main dish includes boiled vegetables and roast meat or fish.
2. Consider something refreshing that may be sweet, good to try low-fat yoghurt and fruit.
3. Cereals should not be missing from diet. Its important to make sure that they are not in the category of cereals containing sugar, chocolate, or crystallized fruit. Combine cereals with milk. Don't just exceed though two big tablespoons a day.
